A foot of fresh snow fell on Mammoth Mountain October 5th! Awesome way to get stoked for the coming snowboard season. Hopefully this is a good sign for an epic season to come.

Owen Wright Wins Quicksilver Pro NYC

Owen Wright from Lennox Head, NSW, Australia, took first over the 10-time winner Kelly Slater in the recent Quicksilver Pro NYC. Incredibly, this is Owen’s first ASP World event!
This year’s Quicksilver Pro was held Friday, September 9th, 2011 on Long Island, NY. The comp boasted the largest prize purse in the history of professional surfing- $300K!
