![]() K2 Snowboarding and renowned pro-rider, Wille Yli-Luoma, are proud to announce an extended partnership through 2011. Wille Yli-Luoma has been an icon in snowboarding since his first huge part in MDP’s Decade over ten years ago. As a K2 International Pro Team Member for more than six years, Wille has not only helped to progress snowboarding through one of the best riding styles in the game, but also by his direct involvement in K2 product and technology development.
“I couldn’t imagine riding for anyone else besides K2. They have become like family to me and I am so thankful for all of the support they have given me over the years. It’s good to know that there are still companies out there that take care of the riders and are focused on snowboarding’s best interests,” says Wille. “Every product I have ever ridden from K2 is truly at the forefront of the industry. I am so happy with the way that this year’s Turbo Dream came out, I don’t think I could imagine a more perfect, all-round snowboard.”
“Wille has the perfect combination of talent and drive that has made him an invaluable asset to K2 over the years,” says Kevin Winkel, K2 Marketing and International Team Manager. “His interest and involvement in everything from product development to creative direction in ads and board graphics has been instrumental in our day-to-day efforts to stay progressive and keep snowboarding fun.”
Wille is coming off a great season of filming for People Creative’s “Nice Try” and Absinthe’s “Neverland,” both coming out this fall. He’ll also be in Argentina with the rest of the K2 International Pro Team this month riding some mid-summer powder.
