Rome Snowboards is the official winner of the Transworld Team Shootout. Competing against Burton, Forum and DC simultaneously at four resorts across the west to produce the best terrain park shoot with photos and video. Go Rome, way to beat out corporate money mongers.
‘This is a big honor,’ says Rome pro Bjorn Leines. ‘We busted ourselves that whole week, so it feels really good to come through with the win!’ Congratulations to all the Rome riders—Eiki Helgason, Bjorn Leines, Marie-France Roy, Will Lavigne, and LNP—for charging hard and taking away the win. And congratulations to Bear Mountain Resort, which hosted the Rome team, building an army of A-grade features including a chain-link fence “wallride,” dumpsters dives, and sculpted jumps.
TransWorld senior photographer Scott Serfas’ official photos submission of gritty black and white images combined with Rome’s hard-hitting video, shot and edited by John Cavan and Vincent Urban, put the Rome team over the top for the win.
