Captivate Your Mind

I am not, by any means, a movie critic. But can I just make one suggestion about Alien Workshop’s latest masterpiece Mind Field? Buy it. Buy it for yourself. Or buy it for your boyfriend and then steal it.

I’ll be honest, I don’t really sit and watch skate videos on the regular, but from time to time I’ll catch one at my local skateshop, Homebase. Recently, Homebase premiered Mind Field and it was so captivating. I was hooked from the overwhelmingly interesting intro, and the soundtrack kept my attention throughout with the exception of a couple of tracks that missed the mark. It’s as artsy and beautiful as it is weird and raw, and features some of today’s most awesome and accomplished skaters in the industry.

You also can’t beat the 60-page book photo book tucked inside highlighting the making of the film and the bonus footy is practically as long as the video itself. It’s completely worth the money spent so support your local skateshop and purchase a copy.
