Dawn Marie Fichera

I am a freelance writer from the Greater Philadelphia area. A self-admitted social media junkie and insatiable adrenaline thrill seeker, I take risks as often as I take breath. Falling out of airplanes clears my mind. In spite of myself, I am a nerd. I love learning.  An eternal student, I earned my Master's degree in Strategic Communication from Villanova University with an emphasis on social and new media. I also earned my post-Master's Certificate in advertising and new media production, including video and web content development for social media platforms. This basically means I can create cheeky content and sick video for any medium.

My mantra in life is a borrowed phrase, "To Thine Own Self Be True." Loosely translated: Get off your ass and live your life your own way.
